Independent since 2014 · 2 Larch Lane, Larchford

Where the town ends, good care begins.

Independent vets and nurses for cats, dogs and small pets — at the end of Larch Lane, beside the wood.

Small enough to know their name. Thoughtful enough to take our time.

Paws & Pines was opened by Dr Marta Keane in 2014, where Larchford meets Larch Wood. Two vets, two nurses, a waiting side of its own for cats, and rooms set up for calmer visits.

The consult room: a steel table on a pedestal, pale cabinets and a tall window onto the pines, a grey dog asleep on a bed by the glass

Care, without the guesswork.

Cats have a separate waiting side with its own door. Ground floor and step-free.

Look round the practice

Before your first visit, three rooms to know.

01

The cat side

A quiet waiting side with its own door, so cats never wait beside dogs. Lina built it, and she will happily sit on the floor with a nervous one.
The cat waiting side: a tabby cat looking calmly out of its carrier on an oak bench, a glass door onto the pines behind
02

The consult room

Plain and calm, with a table that lowers to the floor: big dogs walk on, cats can stay in the bottom of their carrier, and the treats are in the top drawer — we always ask you first.

03

The wood outside

Larch Wood, at the end of the track. Six spaces outside the door, the wood's car park two minutes up the lane, and nobody minds a muddy walker.
