Privacy notice

What we collect when you contact us, sell, buy or let through us, and what we do not do with it.

This notice explains what personal information Keystone & Vale collects through this website and in the course of a sale or tenancy, and what happens to it. Last updated: 1 September 2026.

Who we are

Keystone & Vale Ltd, 4 Vale Mews, Bath BA2 4VX, is responsible for your personal data. Write to privacy@keystonevale.example about anything on this page.

What we collect

  • Enquiries and valuation requests: your name, email, phone number if you give it, the property's town or postcode, what you would like to do and what you write

  • Sales and tenancies: the identity and anti-money-laundering checks the law requires, references for tenants, and the correspondence that makes up the file

  • Website use: anonymous, aggregated statistics, with no advertising cookies and no tracking across other sites

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead anywhere are deleted after twelve months. Sale and tenancy files are kept for six years after the transaction ends, and identity checks for five years, because the law requires it.

Who we share it with

Only the people a sale or tenancy needs: solicitors, lenders, referencing and deposit protection services, and the contractors who carry out repairs. We never sell your details or pass them to anyone for marketing.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data by writing to privacy@keystonevale.example. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
