Privacy notice

What we collect when you visit, write to us or become a member, and what we do with it.

This notice explains what personal information Commonwork collects through this website and in the building, and what happens to it. Last updated: 1 September 2026.

Who we are

Commonwork Holbeck Ltd, registered in England 13208841, The Bale Store, 22 Tenter Lane, Leeds LS11 9EG, is responsible for your personal data. Write to privacy@commonwork.example about anything on this page.

What we collect

  • Tour requests and enquiries: your name, email, company if you give one, and what you write to us

  • Members: your name, contact details, company, billing details and the membership you hold

  • Building access: when your key fob opens the front door and the bike store, kept for ninety days

  • CCTV at the entrances and the yard, kept for thirty days unless it is needed for an incident

  • The Friday note: your email address, until you unsubscribe

What we do not do

We do not sell or share your details for marketing, and we do not put a member's name on this website or in the Friday note without asking first. This website uses no advertising cookies and does not track you across other sites.

Who else sees it

Our payment provider processes membership payments, our access-control supplier runs the key fobs, and our email service sends the Friday note. Each handles your data only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Enquiries for a year, member records for six years after a membership ends because tax law requires it, and everything else for the periods listed above.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data by writing to privacy@commonwork.example. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
