Privacy notice

What we keep when you ask for a quote, move or store with us, and what we never do with it.

This notice explains what personal information Fairhaul Removals collects through this website and when we move or store your belongings, and what happens to it. Last updated: 1 October 2026.

Who we are

Fairhaul Removals Ltd, Unit 4, Canal Wharf Trading Estate, Leeds LS11 5AB, is responsible for your personal data. Write to quotes@fairhaul.example about anything on this page.

What we collect

  • Quote requests: your name, email, phone number if you give one, the two postcodes, the move date, the size of the property and what you tell us about the move

  • Video surveys: the call itself is not recorded; we keep the notes and the list of items we write during it

  • Moves and storage: the addresses, the inventory, the written quote, the invoice and, for storage, what is in each container — kept for six years for our accounts and for any claim under the goods in transit cover

  • Website use: anonymous, aggregated statistics with no advertising cookies and no tracking across other sites

Please do not send bank details or anything else we have not asked for through the form.

Who we share it with

Where a claim is made under the goods in transit cover, we pass the details of the move and the items concerned to the insurer that handles it. Where we apply for a parking suspension, the council receives the address and the date. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data by writing to quotes@fairhaul.example. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
